It is now 11:37am and the gift have just arrived about 10 mins ago. I am unpackinging it right now. I had just got rid of the first plastic layer and now I see maniak's 2nd grade-like writting of his address and my address on the box. He wrote my address really big, I think he was worried that the postman wouldn't be able to see it lol. And now I will continue disecting my package...

Best Anime ever...

GUNDAM 00 is the first anime that every episode I watched, I will always watch the entire OP & ED without skipping it, but occasionally I'll skip the OP, but never the ED... this has happened both on the first series and now the 2nd series as well. The songs were written well for the anime, they start the music at the right time, so if I skip it, it just ruins the mood. This is truely and anime that I absolutely enjoy the entire 20-25 minutes without skipping anything at all. <3

Sunday is SNOW DAY!

This morning when I woke up....uhh.. well this afternoon when I woke up. I looked out the window and it was already covered in snow. My dad insisted to go outside, we got in an arguement, and my mom & I decided to stay. About 10 min later, we heard the garage door and he was back. This is what happens if you don't listen to one of the 5 smartest people you'll ever meet in your life.

Shortly after, I went out to my backyard and attempted to build myself a snowman. But the snow wasn't the right texture; it won't stick. After failing to build a snowman, undoubtedly the next fun thing to do is to abuse my cat outside in the snow. The cat was curious and tried to cat a few snow flakes here and there, but didn't seem to enjoy walking in the snow or being covered and buried in snow. I got a couple yells from my dad to not make the cat sick, so I tossed him back into the house. Oh I forgot he also likes to eat snow. Weird... perhaps I should make him a snow cone.

Some random thoughts after graduation..

Oh yeah... I don't think I ever mentioned that my last term of school has just ended and I have officialy graduated. Unless I really failed one of my classes. But anyawys, have you ever had a time in your life where you felt that you are learning too many things at the same time and is overwhelmed by it? Well, perhaps that's what I'm feeling right now but I think I'm exaggerating. Recently I have been hardcore studying Japanese by myself; speaking of that, I need to contact XiaoMei so I can practice with her. Also, learning the GaoHu has been pretty intense lately too. Perhaps I'm just natually good at it, heh. I've been thinking if I should buy a Shao or Dizi as well to play. I really enjoy playing instruments. But then the Shamisen is something that I actually would really love to learn, but only if someone can teach in Portland and of course at a reasonable price. I'm a little concerned with my sifu right now because he's not performance quality, he just plays as a hobby for the Cantonese operas. Oh well, I'll learn the basics first and then study myself, just like I do with everything else because I'm probably one of the 5 smartest people you'll ever meet in your life.

One of the things that Americans perhaps like to spend the most on are pets. Taking a pet to see a vet can be extremely costly. So yesterday while we were driving, Helen said that she had spend $300 on a her guinea pig at the vet. Phil gave me a mischievious look, and I knew he was thinking of what I was thinking. Phil then asked how much does each guinea pig cost, and Helen said something around $45 (I dunno). LOL, Phil's comment of you can buy 50 of them with $300 made LOL'd so hard and that I made the wrong turns and Phil told me to concentrate on driving lol. XD

Thank you Ashley for inviting me over for Thanks Giving dinner, it was fun.
So last night I drove home about 2a.m. in the morning all the way from Ashley's house. I was sleepy, and pretty much I was singing and screaming in the car on my way home and kept myself awake... (-_-!)

Toilet paper

I went to the bathroom in the basement today and found the whole roll of toilet paper gone... if I remember correctly, there should some left (not much) from yesterday. And I know my cat has been playing it a lot lately.... did he eat the entire roll?!?!? o_O

Also, last night maniac and I agreed to send each other presents through the mail. This morning, Ashley and I figured what I need to get and I already ordered it through the mail, w00t! He's gonna find it to be suprised~! XD I wonder what he's gonna send me~ <3

New instrument I'm learning

So recently I bought a Gaohu (a soprano Erhu). Once I learned it I can play Chinese operal music, w00t. But the instrument really sounds nice when playing Okinawa folk songs like 「さとうきび畑」and「道しるべ」(both Tenipuri songs of course ^_^).
Now I'm thinking of buying a Dizi since I already play the flute.

Ok, for the past couple days I've been hardcore organizing my music. Lets just say I have about 30+ GB of music that's unsorted and not added to my Winamp (which already has 3000+) songs.

Yesterday was a very sad day, because the worst thing that can happen to me is watching a whole series of anime until the last eps and you realize the file is corrupted and doesn't work. F***!!!! And there's no where on the web that has it available anymore. And the english sub ones are SUPER slow at releasing it. So I might have to wait another year before I can watch the endnig.. T__T

So right now my priorities are...
1. Studying
2. Organizing my music
3. CS

I know I should be studying for my Tues night mid-term, but I just can't seem to concentrate... (-_-)

Zoo!

Yay! I finally went to the zoo that I've never been to! And I went with Ashley! That's because I got a free ticket from PACCESS to a company party. It was frickin' hot today! Thank goodness I had my umbrella. Unfortunately, it was too hot so I think that's why they didn't let the polar bears out :( We didn't walk around much and pretty much just waited till the party started. We ate a lot of food, but I ate too much cos my stomach doesn't feel very good right now!!!!!

But anyways, good news is, at the party we had this prize winning thing. So first you walk into this box and the wind blows so you grab a bunch of tickets. I wore my yellow rose silky top today and was like perfect for catching a lot of tickets. Then for each of the tickets you put on your name and you dump them in the a bunch of random boxes that each have a specific prize labelled on it. A lot of were crapy prizes except for the GPS, DS, and the IPod Nano. I pretty split ALL my tickets up and put them only into these three boxes. All the kids were shoving theirs into the DS, and some were boasting about how they put tickets ONLY into the DS prize box lol. Pretty much all the kids wanted the DS or the IPod badly. Well... what's funny is I WON THE DS!1!21 YEAH BABY OH YEAH YEA HYEAH1!!LOLOL Ololol
Right after that i got like 10 pairs of eyes attached to me, giving me glares and looks of jealousy. Some girl came up to me and attempted to trade me with a box of Hot Tamales with the DS.....
Ah well.. anyways, the DS came with a game of Kung-Fu Panda, which I'm about to throw it away; a protection container box kinda thing for me to store my DS and I can put up to 10 games in it; and screen protector. I would say it was about $200 worth of stuff. w00t w00t!

July 4th

Yesterday after pho we went to Malibu to play go-cart and hit some baseballs. I never knew hitting baseball can be so fun, $2 for 25 balls, not too bad. Some time I will and hit again, it's a good work out. Go-cart was a little expensive but it was worth it. I spent about $14 for 6 laps. Too bad only Phil, Andrew, Yuki & I droved. Andrew knocked over one of the cones and ran into the grass. I clipped the corners so much that I thought my wheels were gonna fall off.

Later during the night Phil ditched us but we all went to Patrick's house to play and BBQ. His family was great and welcoming. We lit fireworks, played and talked. One of the fireworks fell sideways during it's explosion and I got headshot from one of the sparkles; me got owned~ Good thing it didn't burn my hair :O
I also met Keita for the first time, oh he so cool and sexy <33333333333 Oh baby!!!

A little incident happened between Ashley and Harris, of course it's Ashley and her little problems so who cares. She'll eventually need to learn it herself and grow up. As long as she doesn't yell at us lollolol.

I think we should've bought the "Habenero Heat" yesterday lollololol. I wonder what it will look like.

Tomorrow will be 4th of July, two years ago same day I played fireworks with Sam at his mom's house. Last year same day we went out with Phil at the water front and watched fireworks. This year I'm gonna go blow up my cat. I'm gonna tie a string to him and and attach a firework thing on the other end and light it. XD

Oh, and today's only a half day so I'm leaving work right now! :D

My cat got owned

LOL So usually when my parents are gone I will take my showers with the bathroom door opened. So of course, the cat is all curious. So he like walks along the bathtub while I'm showering, and pawing at the curtain. But then he fell into the tube where the shower head was. All then all I heard was some very sad meow meow's rofl XD . . . well, then he just quickly walked back to the end of the bathtub and jumped out. :)

Well, anyways, today he is his first day that he began to eat a lot! He pooped twice, and the second time was about 15 minutes ago. Unfortunately, when he was covering it up with litter, he stepped on it himself, so I had to clean his paws and feet, and man they were sharp, and I got pwned on my right hand :(
So after cleaning I decided to trim his nails, I don't care how small they are, I DON'T LIKE SHARP CAT NAILS! Anyways.. he's tired right now and so am I.

About tomorrow, I think my aunt and uncle and their second son is going to come down to Portland from Vancouver, and I have to give up my room for them for one night :(

New kitten adoption 成功！

Today I finally got myself a new kitten!!! We haven't given him a name yet but I'm so used to calling every cat I see "meow" lol. He is very very smart. He already knows how to go up and down the stairs despite being only 2months old and weight 2.3 lbs. He is not shy at all, and he occupied himself with some old SamSam toys for an hour today right after we came home. And he likes to follow me around the house, no matter anywhere I go, cos he's not afraid of the big house. However, only problem he has is he has to be put to sleep unless he's really really tired, like right now he's sleeping under the dinning table with a towel over him. I think it's because he likes it dark down there. He drank a little of water; and at first he wouldn't eat the Science Diet organice kitten food, but I think cos the pellets are too big, he like licked it but didn't eat it. So then I fed it Purina Kitten Chow later and he ate some, but not much. So hopefully he'll eat more, but now I am worrying about whether he should sleep in my room or I should leave him alone around the house... :\

Right now these pictures he's sleeping under the dining table, it's kinda dark so flashing a kitten wouldn't look so great. I'll put up more pictures and videos.

First month of internship - FINEST K.O.

So I'm starting my second month here at Black Jacket Studios. The first month went very well. I showed up to work late and left early almost every day, but I still got everything done. The game now has uber powerful bots. They are actually very good at killing people, but that's all they know how to do right now. Before I can jump in and architect an advanced team tactic system for the bots, I gotta go back and add support for more complex level features like shield walls, lips, and bridges. None of that will be very difficult, so this month should go just as smooth. Hopefully I'll get a raise. Like a $50000 raise maybe. That would be nice.

In other parts of the world, a couple friends of a friend opened a Szechuan restaurant in SE Portland. It's called Lucky Strike and it's at 122nd and Powell. Everyone should go there immediately.

School sucks.

Oh baby!!! So I've started my internship and I like it so far. First time having an office job, don't have stand all day; w00t! I get my own cubical even though I share it with the other inter Bryan; he's a cool guy. So far I've been sorting out some files and learning to do some customers' orders and packing list. So yeah... it's cool~

I know I haven't posted in a while because I'm lazy. But anyways, for the past two weeks I've been working at the Children's Center in Smith and it's been quite fun working there. However, I am going to have to quit because I have just been hired as an intern at a company called PACCESS that does packaging and stuff. This intern will start this coming Tues w00t w00t!

Recently on 24 has changed their server location to San Diego if I remember correctly. Everybody's ping went up including mine, but it's still lower than the Texas server from before so it's all good, but the server lost a huge number of regulars, two nights in row it was empty when I wanted to play. Lets hope Sharpie will consider moving it back to where it belongs.

Bad day...

OMG, why didn't I check my schedule!??! If I did I would know that I ACTUALLY had class tonight! But NO! I dunno... I guess in my mind I kept thinking of Nam's schedule because I saw his's last night; I thought he was in Mellie's class so I saw in his schedule that he didn't have a class on Tuesday do I thought I didn't have class tonight~!! GGYYAAA!!!!!! @$^#$&%#@@#

Oh well... I had a good excuse even though I really missed class －my mom sprained her ankle Wal-Mart today lawl. She said she was pushing the cart and it was heavy so it tipped over and then she fell, she said the cart ran over a hole or side walk something like that. Not to mention, she ran a red light this morning while she was dropping me at work lol.

Well, I still had fun today, after work I talked to Mark about being staff at K-con because this year they're back at Lloyd @ the Double Tree! w00t!

And after that I was bored and I saw Eriks ugly hands and I was like "Hey wanna go get a manicure with me?" I never thought that he'd go but he actually came with me and we both got manicures lol

CS glitches again

Soo mouse turned some people into chickens today and I think the chicken in this picture is bawitaba, for some reason there's a knife floating on top of his head. It happened for 2 rounds in a row then it disappeared.

What's funny is that he kept planting th bomb and when the chicken plants, it's a golden egg lol.

Yesterday I went to Lincoln City with Ashley and her cousins. We ended up going to Spririt Mountain Casino because Catherine & Ashley's dad said we're going there for seafood. I'm not really a fan of crabs so I ate a lot of random food like dessert lol. We waited around for 2 hours before we could eat, so during the time we walked around, went to the arcade and had fun.

The casino sucked, it's small, the people there are bad, I'm never going back there again. The food wasn't great either, so I literally stuffed myself with dessert as usual and last night I had a slight tummy ache lol. But whatever... I had fun yesterday. Thank you Ashley for inviting me! >:D

今早醒來時才發覺經以是中午﹐足足睡了差不多十二小時…都怪老爸前晚睡覺的鼻寒聲所致﹐所以全無入睡。他有「睡眠膣息症」﹐又不願意接受伺療﹐好麻煩。

今日有一大堆的衫要洗﹐睇下... 我個污 jo 衫籃的溶量經以到了極限。(笑)

剛剛 upload 了一堆很舊的相片﹐有好多都是貓貓的﹐又再令我屬相傷情… 好懷念你 (淚)

看看 video﹐發覺自己當時對經以病得好痛的貓貓好粗暴﹐但當時真的不知道他是肝痛﹐雖話不知者不罪﹐但我卻不能願諒自己…而且然在以經太遲了…

現今我還在努力揾過領一隻貓貓﹐不過因還未到 season﹐所以冇乜兩個月的貓貓。大慨再過多個月的時間就應該會有ga la～

Mahjong

If Omi isn't going to post then I guess I have to.

So winter term is almost over so as usual I start working on 50 different project and my life becomes busier than it was during the term. My internship should officially start in a couple of weeks. That's the most exciting thing going on right now.

Other than that, I've been playing a lot of mahjong and poker online lately and I've found that all the online mahjong software sucks a big one compared to the poker software - I'm booyasamy on Full Tilt Poker, btw. So anyway, I've decided to write some killer mahjong software. It's gonna be hella sick. I'll post when it's done. Let me know if you want to try it out.

So lucky today! For DMC4, I happened to be able to get the adjudicator in Mission 11 (the one that requires SSS rank with Nero). On top of that, I finished Secret Mission 9 I think, the one called "Unbreakable". I re-tried it several times and eventually beat it. Now all I have left is the Royal Guard secret mission, I got up to 3/5 blocks but then died. It is my only last piece of Blue Orb fragment, then I would max out my HP-bars.

I stole food today

I found food today (well yesterday cos it's 12:15 right now) in the laundry room when I went with Sam to do his laundry. There was a bag with a can of chicken flavor instant Chunky, a box of brownie mixture, and lemon cream poppi seed cake mixture. I dunno who's it is but I'm taking it cos it's free food. I only took the Chunky and brownie, but not the lemon.

Right now my tummy doesn't feel good cos I think I ate dinner too fast when I came home :(

萬歳!!!

So that mysterious bucket of litter box that appeared outside our garage, we found out that it came from Bernice. Apparently they lost their cat too, but we told them that we lost SamSam a while ago. :(

Good things happened today. I intentionally was going to buy myself a PS3 and an HD TV after I get a job, but today I went to BestBuy with my parents and we bought a 37' 720p SAMSUNG for $1199. We compared a lot of other TVs, and this one is the best for its price. I also looked at the one Sam had, it was not good, the color was dull; despite it was at $1299, 1080p & 42', we chose the SAMSUNG one. We were also offered a $100 off discount on the 40GB PS3, but I didn't have money :(: (:(:(:((((((..... oh well.. I guess I'll wait till have a job then buy a PS3, but at least I don't have to buy the TV no more.

Life is good

Everything is finally coming together. My research project got funded and my internship should be starting very soon. Omi is still playing DMC4 but I think she's almost done. Now I just gotta get out of this damn dorm and buy a car.

I finished DMC4 yesterday!!! Thanks to some tip, I didn't have to spend over 2 hours on Mission 19 like some other people did. I really liked the ED song, and I guess the ending was good but the story wasn't that great. I downloaded a save file that has everything unlocked so it's cool now. My next attempt is to beat Son of Sparda mode and master the JC moves.

Yesterday I spent like 7 hours playing DMC4, and eventually I stopped at Mission 18. And Dante is much more sexier than ever XD.

So I ended up not going to the comedy show because Ashley got drunk the night before and forgot to call for reservations. And we decided to go out and eat instead. Phil said he wasn't going to make it because of Church but he ended up being able to.

Today I had pho with Phil and then we went to school to watch the tennis match between OSU and PSU. I saw "Crusty the Clown" for the first time, and a really ugly chick that was his girly. There is no suitable word to describe them so I'll just keep my mouth shut... but I feel sad when I look at them. :(

I left off with finishing Mission 8. I grabbed a bunch of Blue Orbs today and now my HP is 1337. :D

DMC4 progression

So Sam was sleeping the entire day today, he slept so bad that I thought he wasn't home. Well... I mean he didn't answer the phone or the door when I knocked. I knocked for about a minute before he came. :(

Anyways, today I HC repeatedly played Missions 1 & 2 repeately to get more Proud Souls, meanwhile getting Red Orbs to buy Blue Orbs too. So far I only I have 2 Blue Orbs left to purchase. I bought some new abilities and moves such as Red Queens combo 3 and Air Hike (most useful move in game). I unlearned the Charged Shot because it was so useless, his revolver does no damage whatsoever anyways...
I finished Mission 5 and was halfway through Mission 6 until it was too late and I had to quit in the middle of it to go to class. I thought beating the boss (Angus) would finish the mission but no.... HUMPH! >:(
Tomorrow I wil have to redo the boss fight.

Anyways, let me review this game. So far the game is not that difficult, well... remember in DMC3, I couldn't even get pass the 2nd Mission... but anyways, I have just finished Mission 4 before I had to go home. I've used up several Vital Stars S here and there and now the prices are all jacked up... those bastards. But this shouldn't be a problem, because once I collect more blue orbs my HP bar will be 1337 and I wouldn't have to worry anymore. :)

As far as the control goes, it is more user friendly than DMC3. Back in DMC3 some of the moves required you to button mash on triangle or circle, they were not fun; and sometimes hard to execute. I'm glad they took that out. Otherwise, most of movements and controls feel the same. I am pretty impressed by the new Nero-only feature: Exceed & his big big hand. When Red Queen is charged up, it deals quite powerful attacks, same with the hand.

A Cold & Wet Day

So it was snowing today earlier, then it turned into snow. And it turned out that the gutter on the roof top was clogged up by leaves. All of us spent an hour outside in the cold rain trying to clear it out and we finally did. Whoever owned the house before somehow didn't have the garbage stopper on top of the hole and so leaves and dirt would all wash inside the gutter tube.

So... yeah I decided to skip class today because it was having heavy wet snow, and I was wet when I got to school.

When I was leaving Sam's apartment, my stupid jacket's zipper was stuck to the fabric and I couldn't undo it until I got on the bus and was half way from getting off. >:(
